Costa Blanca Sailing is a RYA (Royal Yachting Association) Training Centre, meaning you will receive the highest standards. All Costa Blanca Sailing Instructors are RYA qualified and our yacht have passed an RYA inspection, ensuring whether it’s your first time on the water or not, you will be in the best hands.
RYA Practical Sailing Courses
This two day course provides an introduction to sail cruising for novices. By the end of the course you will have experienced steering a yacht, handling the sails, doing ropework and be aware of safety on board.

If you’ve not been sailing before and want to learn the basics, this is the course for you. You’ll stay on the yacht for the duration of the course and learn all about living aboard with your fellow crew members.

Unlike the UK, most European countries require the Skipper of any vessel to provide proof of competency on request, and this is where the ICC can be useful, as it is recognised under a United Nations convention.
