What you need
- Some prior time at sea on a sailing yacht (as a minimum, the experience expected of a competent crew member).
- Minimum age 16.
Recommended first
- Day Skipper theory (or equivalent shore-based navigation knowledge) before the practical.
- Essential Navigation & Seamanship if you have not done any navigation theory.
