Use this route when you are moving from Day Skipper toward Coastal Skipper course Spain, longer passages and Yachtmaster preparation Spain.
Coastal Skipper shorebased theory is recommended beforehand.

What you need
- Sailing experience and confidence at around Day Skipper level (skippering by day in familiar waters).
- Tidal sailing experience and sound boat-handling under sail and power.
Recommended first
- Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster shore-based theory before the practical.

Before you join
- Suggested minimum: 15 days at sea, including 2 days as skipper, 300 nautical miles and 8 night hours.
- Navigation to Coastal Skipper theory standard and practical ability to Day Skipper standard.
- Minimum age: 17.
