Our Elan Impression 434 is the most elegant, well equipped and best maintained sailing yacht in the RYA fleet!
It offers a host of features that will make your training course or charter that extra bit special, as you sail in total comfort and safety. The semi-deck saloon allows light to flood in below decks, and provides for extra headroom and an overall feeling of spaciousness. Elan’s commitment to quality materials and workmanship is evident throughout, resulting in fast passage making and exceptional seaworthiness, and with her comprehensive list of deck equipment, short-handed sailing is a real pleasure!
Our yacht provides enviable accommodation – two double berths aft (one with access to the aft heads), one double berth forward and a bunk cabin amidships. Each cabin is provided with it’s own wardrobe and storage space, electric socket and fan. The saloon centres around a large folding dining table and the sofas can double up as extra berths if required. There are two heads, the aft providing an electric toilet and walk-in shower. The fully equipped galley includes a three burner stove with oven, a large top loading fridge, a wet bin, and double sink unit. For comfort, Costa Blanca Sailing is now fitted with air conditioning to the saloon to keep us cool during the summer months, and a heating system providing warmth throughout the boat (not that we need it very often!). We also have a generator on board allowing use of the 230 volt electrical system whilst at sea, and, if you are intending to travel farther afield, we even have a water maker!
Oh yes, and we have a TV/DVD and free on-board WiFi!
Navigation equipment includes two touchscreen Raymarine 12” Axiom chartplotters (one at the nav table and on deck), Navman DSC VHF, Raymarine Autopilot with remote control, Navtex weather station, radar and active AIS. On deck the helm can access all information via the Graphic display, and of course we have wind, autopilot and tridata displays.
On deck, Costa Blanca Sailing boasts a complete wardrobe of sails, including a fully battened main with lazy jacks and bag, a furling genoa, a gennaker with snuffler and a storm gib (mounted on removable stay). The gennaker pole is fitted on a mast mounted slider for ease of use. All lines are let aft to the cockpit including the three single reefing lines. To help with those awkward berthing manoeuvres, CBS is fitted with a bow thruster. The bower anchor is mounted on an electric windlass with bow and chain counter helm controls. The twin helms and large cockpit are fully cushioned and protected by a full length bimini, whilst a spray hood can be fitted for longer passages. Should the wind not agree with your plan, the auxiliary Volvo 55hp engine (new in 2021) will get you there in quiet comfort via the saildrive which is fitted with a three blade folding propeller.
Of course we provide a complete set of safety equipment to adhere to MCA and RYA regulations, including a deck mounted 10 man SOLAS A life raft, automatic life jackets and harnesses, EPIRB, SART, gas and smoke detectors and a full set of spares.
Once you arrive at that idyllic anchorage, jump in from the bathing platform complete with fresh water shower, or take the dinghy ashore and explore! But don’t be long, you’ll be itching to get sailing again very soon!
